Today is the 45th anniversary of the premier of Dr. Strangelove. I watched Dr. Strangelove for the first time only a couple years ago. I had heard of it before but never sat down and watched it. It was certainly entertaining and I can understand why so many people like Stanley Kubrick.
I am not typically a fan of absurdest humor but Kubrick is able to pull it off in Dr. Strangelove.
In the end the fears of nuclear war appear to have faded but the humor of the movie remains.
